For the month of August, Security Self Storage of Port St. Lucie, Fla., is collecting nonperishable food and general wish-list items for Molly's House, a 501(c)3 hospital-hospitality house that offers affordable, temporary accommodations for patients and families receiving medical care on the Treasure Coast. Located at 501 N.W. Business Center Drive, the self-storage facility is seeking donations of items including pancake mix, peanut better, jelly, non-refrigerated milk, canned goods, paper towels and toilet paper. A complete list of wish list items can be found at http://mollyshouse.org.
Charity work is very important to Security Self Storage staff, according to facility manager Dina Tabora. Besides renting storage units, helping others is what we love to do, she said.
Mollys House serves Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties. The Victorian-style residence features 14 bedrooms with private baths, a living room, two kitchens, a laundry facility, a chapel, a library and outside areas for relaxing. The center has been keeping families together since 1996, providing a home away from home for more than 15,000 individuals.
Security Self Storage is managed by Mindful Management LLC, a locally owned and operated chain of 14 self-storage facilities throughout Florida (13) and Maryland (1). The company offers amenities including a business concierge program, a business-to-business network and 24-hour access.
