Personal Mini Storage, a self-storage operator with more than 25 locations in Florida, is helping a local charity by offering a free self-storage unit to store decorative gift baskets.
Laurie Shader Smith, vice president of Personal Mini Storage, offered the free unit to Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando, a non-profit organization that operates a food pantry and other services to community members.
The baskets are rented to individuals and companies as centerpieces for special events. The centerpieces are filled with a representation of assorted packaged foods and wrapped in clear cellophane with bows.
Smith also worked with Flourish Floral Productions in Orlando to freshen up the baskets. The rental money helps support JFS pantries.
