Tickets were $50 a person and had to be purchased in advance. The money raised through corporate sponsors and ticket sales will be used to fund the $3,000 Gary H. Fisher Honorary Academic Scholarship and the $500 John Hamer Nichols Sr. Memorial Service Scholarship, which are available to graduating seniors of Richmond Senior High School. They also support Kiwanis’ Terrific Kids program, which promotes character development, perseverance and self-esteem.

Corporate sponsors received six tickets each and a table with name recognition. Additional sponsors included First Bank, Richmond County Memorial Park, Tri-Cook Electrical Contractors, Watson-King Funeral Home Inc., Woody and Donna Gunter, and WLWL 770-AM radio station.
