Apex Self Storage of Manchester, England, recently raised money for two charities catering to local youth: Hideaway Youth Project and The Frost Foundation. Staff from the operator’s Hulme and Radcliffe facilities dressed up in storage-box outfit and asked people to sign the box. In addition, they took “selfies” with the public. For every signature and photo, Apex donated money to one of the two causes.
Established 50 years ago, Hideaway Youth Project offers education and activities for people age 11 to 25. The organization also offers volunteer and work programs.
The Frost Foundation assists children who are disadvantaged by illness, circumstance or lack of funding. Through its various charitable efforts, the organization provides specialized equipment to children in need.
Apex Self Storage operates eight facilities in Ardwick, Cheadle, Congleton, Eastlands, Glossop, Hulme, Radcliffe and Warrington, England.
