Airport Self Storage in Salem, Ore., is helping a local animal hospital and the county offer low-cost vaccinations and licensing for dogs June 4.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the facility, 2142 Turner Road S.E. Marion County Dog Control will offer amnesty for late fees and licensing violations, and provide licenses and vaccinations along with the Willamette Valley Animal Hospital.
Rabies vaccinations will be offered for $3 to the first 250 dogs whose owners purchase or renew a county dog license. Other low-cost vaccinations include corona vaccinations and bordatella.
Dogs must be on leashes or in carriers. Dog owners in Marion County are required to purchase a license when a dog reaches six months of age.
