StorageMart, which operates more than 190 self-storage properties across Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States, has purchased a facility in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, its second in the city. The acquisition at 2615 Westside Drive W., near the University of Lethbridge, comprises more than 20,000 square feet of storage space in 200 drive-up and indoor units. The site also offers outdoor vehicle storage. The company plans to add upgrades to the property, according to a press release.
"Bringing this store into the StorageMart family provides conveniently located storage options to customers in Lethbridge," said Cris Burnam, president. "Our newest location is well-positioned to continue our mission of providing every customer with an easy and clean storage experience."
StorageMart also operates a facility at 4015 2 Ave. S. The properties offer a combined total of more than 80,000 square feet of storage and 619 units, the release stated.
Founded in 1999 and based in Columbia, Mo., StorageMart is privately owned and operated by the Burnam family, which has been in the storage industry for three generations. It serves more than 75,000 self-storage customers, and operates in Chinese, English, Punjabi, Quebecois French and Spanish.
