The New Hampshire Self Storage Association (NHSSA) has hired Courtney J. Kahler as executive director. The group has been run by a volunteer board since its founding but will now turn operation over to a professional management company, according to a press release.
“The New Hampshire Self Storage Association has become a respected self-storage owner/operator resource thanks to the past and present leadership of its volunteer board members,” said Rhonda Hallett Pope, outgoing treasurer. “Courtney Kahler of Accrete Group will be the catalyst needed to keep this excellent association moving forward. Her experience and enthusiasm make her a welcome addition to our group as our new executive director. As a facility owner, I look forward to what she will bring to New Hampshire’s self-storage community.”
Kahler has worked in association management since 2015 and served as executive director for the Northeast Self Storage Association since 2018. She has experience working with multiple state associations on membership retention and benefits, event planning and execution, administrative duties, database upkeep, website updates, publications, and more.
“I’m excited to begin building relationships with the NHSSA board of directors and members,” Kahler said. “To have such a well-organized, successful and involved association shows how dedicated the NHSSA volunteers are, and I am honored to have been chosen to help NHSSA in continuing to move forward.”
As part of its move to professional management, the NHSSA also has a new, dedicated phone number and mailing address. It’ll also update its logo and website with a new look and feel, the release stated.
Founded in 1998, the NHSSA provides resources, education and legislative advocacy for self-storage operators in New Hampshire.
