Storage Asia Co. Ltd., which operates i-Store Self Storage in Thailand, has signed an agreement with Thai Movers Ltd. to integrate the companies’ storage and moving services. The partnership is designed to combine the “operational strength” of both organizations through consulting and services, according to the source.
“The business expansion of the company is to increase the operational efficiency to the self-storage business of i-Store,” said Pakdee Anivat, CEO and founder of Storage Asia. “The company is determined to continue its integrated storage services in all aspects.”
Kris Snidvongs, general manager for Thai Movers, believes the partnership will provide business growth for both companies, particularly in Bangkok’s Central Business District.
The companies’ goal in 2019 is to earn 200 new customers through the shared-services platform. Officials also plan to extend moving-management services to i-Store’s two locations.
i-Store operates two Bangkok facilities, offering traditional self-storage to business and residential customers, along with wine storage and i-StoreGO, a valet-storage service.
Thai Movers offers domestic and international relocation services to residents, as well as business moving services.
