Compass Self Storage, a member of the Amsdell family of companies, has acquired Stor-All in Acworth, Ga. The company now operates 16 locations in Greater Atlanta and 85 nationwide. The purchase was made by separate affiliates of Amsdell Group LLC and Compass Self Storage LLC. The facility will be branded under the Compass name, according to a press release.
The property at 5745 Bells Ferry Road comprises 50,700 net rentable square feet in climate-controlled and drive-up units as well as vehicle-storage spaces. Compass plans to upgrade the facility with new paving and security measures. It’ll also offer moving and packing supplies, and truck rentals.

Amsdell was represented in the real estate transaction by J.L. "Chip" Mack III of McWhirter Realty Partners LLC, a commercial real estate firm.
