Store Space Self Storage, which operates 18 facilities in six states, has launched a third-party management division. Storage360 will offer a “cradle to grave management solution” throughout the United States, according to a press release. The initiative will be led by Store Space executives Rob Consalvo, chief operating officer; Chris Harris, CEO; and Stephen Sandecki, chief marketing officer.
“As data and technology continue to dominate our industry, it is important that day-to-day operations adapt,” Consalvo said.
Storage360 offers a proprietary platform developed internally by Store Space that’s designed to leverage marketing, operations and technology. “By consolidating everything under a single platform, we can control every aspect of our business.” Sandecki said. “Our platform allows us to adapt to changes in our industry [quickly] and makes it easy for us to rapidly embrace new technologies and shifts in marketing strategies.”
“We are very proud of our latest, forward-thinking technology platform, which is a significant upgrade over other options available to storage operators,” added Harris. “As data and Web rankings become increasingly more important than your physical location or sign out front, owners need an option to turn to other than the [real estate investment trusts] or non-branded management companies.”
Together, Cansalvo, Harris and Sandecki have more than 40 years of self-storage experience, with expertise in finance, marketing, operations and technology. The three industry veterans have been stakeholders in more than $2 billion in recent storage transaction, the release stated.
Launched in 2018 and based in Winter Garden, Fla., Store Space has several self-storage properties under purchase agreement that will bring its operating portfolio to 28 facilities in 10 states, according to the release.
