Westy Self Storage, which operates properties in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, has opened a new facility in East Northport, N.Y., its 14th location. The property at 4049 Jericho Turnpike extends the company’s tristate footprint into northern Suffolk County.
The newly built facility encompasses 139,120 square feet of storage space in more than 1,200 units. As with other Westy properties, it features a grand atrium lobby with balconies from the upper floors as well as art on the walls, soft background music and granite lobby floors. All of Westy’s buildings are professionally cleaned every weekday to maintain its “consistent spotlessness,” according to the source.
“We feel very fortunate to be able to join the East Northport community. Westy is committed to our customers as well as the neighborhoods we serve,” said Edward Arredondo, director of development.
Founded in 1990, Westy Self Storage is headquartered in Stamford, Conn. It operates four facilities in Connecticut, three in New Jersey and seven in New York.
