Update 11/29/16 – Super Storage has opened the first phase of its new facility, which comprises 34,350 square feet of storage space, 12,600 of which are climate-controlled. Gate access is 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
Property features include a 24-hour, self-service kiosk station, gated-access control and video cameras. Consistent with other Super Storage facilities, the Flowers facility offers truck rentals, hand dollies, and a retail store that sells moving and packing supplies.
11/20/15 – Super Storage Self Storage Group has begun construction on its newest self-storage facility, Flowers Plantation Self Storage in Clayton, N.C. The property at 65 Plantation Drive is in the unincorporated community of Flowers Plantation. It’s near the Food Lion grocery store and Plantation Animal Clinic off North Carolina Highway 42.
Slated to open in March, the 64,000-square-foot facility will include climate-controlled, drive-up and vehicle storage. “This new facility has been designed to help meet the growing self-storage demands in Clayton/Flowers Plantation,” said developer Kent Alexander.
Super Storage operates one facility in Kentucky and three more in North Carolina. Property features include perimeter fencing, online billpay, video cameras, and the sale of moving and packing supplies. Some facilities also offer individual door alarms and kiosks.
