The Lock Up Self Storage has opened an indoor parking facility for car, boat and RV storage at its facility in St. Petersburg, Fla. More than 40 parking spaces can accommodate vehicles up to 50 feet long, and the climate-controlled environment will help protect property from Floridas sun and heat.
The facility also offers motion-sensor lighting, requires electronic access and has 24-hour video cameras. A self-serve wash bay enables customers to rinse salt and sand from their vehicles before storing them, and electrical sockets are available for those who need to recharge a battery after a lengthy stay.
The company is offering a $1 first-month move-in special to celebrate the new facility.
Based in Chicago, The Lock Up has six self-storage facilities in Florida and operates 29 facilities across the United States.
