For the sixth consecutive year, U.K. self-storage operator Big Yellow Group PLC is sponsoring The Tringe, an English comedy festival produced by Get Stuffed Comedy Club. The event, which runs June 26 to July 16, takes place at The Court Theatre, a small venue at hotel and conference center Pendley Manor in Tring, a market town in Hertfordshire, England.
Tringe acts include comedians Katy Brand, Jason Byrne, Shappi Khorsandi, Nish Kumar and Zoe Lyons, who will trial their new shows before they perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, an arts festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, Aug. 5 to 29. Tickets for The Tringe are £5 to £22.50 and can be purchased from the Get Stuffed website.
Get Stuffed hosts its own comedy shows and assists community groups in arranging comedy-event fundraisers. The venue is responsible for raising more than £100,000 in charity over the past few years. It has also made financial donations to local causes including the Scouts.
Big Yellow Group operates 84 locations in the United Kingdom under the Big Yellow Self Storage and Armadillo Self Storage brand names, with most concentrated in Greater London. Its total portfolio comprises 5.1 million square feet.
